What do you find to be the most difficult aspect of career transition?
In my many years of coaching people through transitions, I found that people's greatest challenges varies.
For many, sorting out what they really want to do with their lives (Career Playground) seems to be one of the most difficult. Others struggle with finding a 'taxi job', a source of short term income to pay the bills while they clarify their long term path.
Others know what they want to do but are challenged by how to go about it. They feel torn between traditional employment and an entrepreneurial path.
Employment seems safer even though it may not be. They work hard to find a company that will allow them to be creative and pay them what they are really worth. Creating a business can feel more creative and exciting but scarier.
